Lawrence (Larry) Ronald Rosenzweig was admitted to the California Bar in 1976 and soon was acknowledged to be a dedicated education labor law expert. Larry tirelessly defended the working rights of teachers and faculty across the state and the SMC Faculty Association was proud to be represented by him for decades. Larry died in February, 2023.
To honor him, the SMCFA established an endowed memorial scholarship in his name for students expressing interest in the field of labor law. Awardees receive a scholarship of $1,500.
